Very cold air is in place with strong winds that may gust past 80 kph into the afternoon. Skies will be mostly sunny but the wind will make conditions feel much colder than the thermometer shows.

Temperatures will sit well below freezing, near -14 C at the warmest, with real-feel values closer to -20 C. Extra layers and windproof outerwear will make time outside more comfortable.

Secure loose outdoor items and take care in exposed spots. Clear skies are expected overnight, with temperatures remaining frigid.
